How can you shape an interaction and experience from a common household object?
The WeSaw is based off of an old fashioned bathroom spring scale. Using this as inspiration, I created a see-saw experience that “weighs” two people by their friendship.
The experience starts with an email that invites friends to customize their WeSaw dial. Following this, participants recieve a printed dial which attaches to the see-saw scale. Together with a friend, friends will get on the scale and weigh themselves together. This experience aims to reframe the comparison of people’s bodyweights as something fun. Rather than recieving your bodyweight in lbs, friends get to know how many “Beyonces” or “pizzas” they weigh.
